Pearland Oilers advance to round 4

The Pearland Oilers defeated Cy Creek 54-7 in a game that the Oilers controlled from the start. The Oilers came out to make a statement, jumping out to an early 21-0 lead in the first quarter and didn't stop until the game ended. For the second consecutive game the Oilers defense had a dominant performance. Once again scoring touchdowns on interceptions and applying pressure to the quarterback. The offense had a balance attack of the running and passing game.

Pearland advances to round four of the playoffs and will play Katy at 1pm, Rice Stadium on Saturday, December 4, 2010.

What a beautiful day we have today! I'm excited about todays game between Pearland and Cy Creek. I don't know much about Cy Creek, but if our defense plays like it did last week, we will be playing again next weekend.

Every week I tell myself that I'm not going to arrive at the stadium so early. But the atmosphere and excitement of Oilers football changes that every game day.

Thanksgiving

I hope that everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving day. We have much to be thankful for. Many times we take things for granted and forget about how blessed we are. Thanksgiving kicks off the holiday season. The remaining of the year our schedules will much busier than they have been the past few months.
